Jolly Old England
|
|
Here's some of the photos which Amanda and I took while in the queen's city -- London, England. Trip was fun, a bit too short, but it was a good experience, and I totally loved BIG BEN -- he was exquisite and better than advertised. It has been my only real trip since being here, something I hope to change this term. I went with Amanda and Jim, both of who are students at BC, and should be back soaring with the Eagles now. We didn't eat any strumpets, but we did use the lou. Whatever. Enjoy and Cheery-oh!!
p.s. I am not so sure about some names of stuff, so excuse me for not being perfect!! Sheesh, One man can only do so much.
p.p.s.I am fully aware of the fact that this was the really really really bad phase of my hair-growing experiment. Hence the minimal amount of pictures of me. All good. ADIOS

Me and mi madre's Christmas in Bergen!
|
|
Well, thanks to my wonderful, gracious, stupendous, awesome, loveable, huggable, squeezeable, friendliest of friends, my mother and I were able to spend a week together over Christmas break here in Bergen, Norway. It was one of the most memorable and special times of my life, and I could not give out enough love and thanks to everyone that put something into this wonderful gift. It was also quite a shock to see this lady with red hair get off the plane!! Our week together consisted mostly of watching movies (14 in about 6 days, in case you were wondering), decorating my room a bit more, just hanging out with each other, and eating, with minimal time being spent in the city due to it being open for pretty much two of her days here. But it was all gravy, and I hope think you can tell from some of our pics that we had a great time.
HA DET!!
p.s. Mom, I hope you don't mind our dinner table pics :-B
p.p.s. Thanks again, everybody! You all are THE BEST!!!

Eyebrow Photoshoot
|
|
Seeing as how getting this eyebrow ring and my desire to show it off has inspired me to finally start up this fotopages thing, I figured it would be my first entry here. I started off with taking some more pictures of myself, just cuz I am cool like that, and that is one of the things I do with my free time here in Norway. And because I just really dig this eyebrow ring -- for serious. It just makes me feel ...... ahhhhh ....... feel good. And tough -- hella tough. Ah, sure. "Yeah, whatever dude, I dunno, whateva ya know? I just -- I got the 'tude now, ya know. Whateva, I don't care, ya know? So it's just whateva, I'm lettin it happen, I'm freewheelin'." So I hope you enjoy my first entry, my eyebrow piercing, and the wealth of pictures that I will eventually provide you with
HA DET!!!
p.s. Bonus points for those who know that quote -- and some of you better!

Bodybuilding Shots
|
|
Note that these pictures were taken on Friday, December 3 at approximately 7 PM, PST. I told Anis and Shoghi, my two very buff bodybuilding buddies who live in Norway, that I had been making some good progress lately and I would take some pics so they could see me. I think I'm doing pretty well lately, and well, the proof is in the pudding.
If you my face looks funny, try flexing all of the muscles in your body and still looking normal, ok?
Is the sidewaysness of the pics that distracting? Should I straighten them? Let me know.
I currently weigh about 180, or around 82 kg, at about six feet tall
There are two different lighting effects in these pics; the first is when the flash was on, and the second is with it off. I think you will be able to tell which is which.
I didn't get any real leg shots, which is too bad, as I think my wheels are a strong point. Maybe I will later.

Thanksgiving at Fantoft
|
|
We had our own Thanksgiving here at Fantoft up on Amanda and Katia and Marc and Daniella and Susanna's floor, and it was great. We had chicken instead of turkey, and there was a problem getting the correct crust for the pumpkin pies, and we had to explain Thanksgiving about 32,498 times to the foreigners, but it was all good. When we went around and said what we were thankful for, I said I was thankful for the mashed potatoes "What's taters, precious?" "PO-TA-TOES! Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew!" So yeah, we had a lot of fun, and I am glad Amanda got the old Thanksgiving ball rollin' for us.
HA DET!!!
p.s. Jim is a vegetarian. That will be a little funnier a bit later.
p.p.s. But I just realized I can't find the pic that would make that funny. Ha ha. Ha. ha......h.....a.... 0)

On a beautiful day in August, I went with Simon, Pete, and Marit to a little place called Søtra. Our initial reason for going was to collect samples for Pete for him to take home or something, but we found that there was little sample taking to be done - so we just hiked around and hung out and stuff. Then we found some sheep and fed them and poked at their enormous sheep balls for about 3 hours until the bus came. But it was good times, and my hair was super short. Enjoy!
HA DET!!!
p.s. If put a closed fist out there, the sheep with the horns would try to headbutt it -- ouch!! ADIOS
